Commissions

I have completed  a number of private commissions. I like to put in time to research ideas then sketch and consult with the customer before selecting the right  piece of material for the project.

I like to talk with customers and visualise with them how the piece will be and their expectations of the finished project. 

One of my most recent commission came about through working with Creative Tauranga. I carved a piece for Balance Fertiliser RD1 on site at the fieldays 08 in Hamilton. This created much interest and great advertising for the company. It was an interesting piece as I carved it out of Morrocan phosphate and cement.  It is one metre by one metre in measurement and represents fertiliser and growing grass. It stands outside the central Office in Mount Maunganui.
